This can be very unhealthy, and you probably don’t even know you’re having it. The ingredient I’m referring to is Carrageenan. It’s funny because I’m pretty health conscious and saw this before but didn’t know what it was.
I get ice cream and half and half for coffee at the office once in a while, and that’s where I recall seeing it. I’m always busy buying, what I thought was the best one, organic, good expiration, etc. Who Knew…!
So what is this stuff? Considered harmless by the government, multiple studies have proven otherwise. Found to be a cause of ulcers and even cancer in animals, and linked to diabetes; I think it might be good to avoid.
