I’ve Been Told that Inflammation is the Source of My Pain.


Rarely do we have a bone out of place, directly compressing a nerve. Inflammation builds up and puts pressure on nerves. We can have a misaligned spine, a bulged disc, boney deformation (like bone spurs, jagged edges, and the like) and now inflammation added to the mix; there’s going to be pressure on a nerve or nerves.

What does pain from inflammation feel like? It can be described as a stiffness, and discomfort. It can be constant and steady in nature. It can also be described as pulsating, throbbing or even aching.

Inflammation often causes pain because the swelling pushes up against sensitive nerve fiber endings, which send pain signals to the brain.

What are some easy-to-do, simple remedies for inflammation:

– drink more water
– massage
– chiropractic adjustments
– stretches
– exercise
