First, most other pillows do not have a neck roll. The neck roll is a very important feature of the cltraction pillow. The Neck Roll helps to restore the necks cervical curvature. This is the most important aspects of neck alignment. A proper curvature keeps the spinal cord relaxed and nerves travelling out of the spine without interference.
The next important feature that seperates this pillow from others is the "v" for gentle traction. Just this gentle neck stretch helps to open up the holes where nerves exit the spine with no pressure or interference.
Lastly, is the fact that you can rotate the pillow 180 degrees and have a side with no "v" but just the neck roll alone. Basically, you have two pillows in one.
